Light housework???

I had mine March 9th. Light housework consists of making myself a cup of tea, heating up a frozen dinner in the microwave and taking a shower.
It's only 10 days. Leave the housework. Let someone come and do it for you.

Light housework???

I had mine on March 1st and by March 9th I was wanting to do something to help my DH. So I folded the laundry. I had an appointment with Dr. on the 10th and he told me that was fine just no heavy lifting. I had a LAVH/BSO. I still am trying to be very careful and not vacuuming, sweeping or mopping. I hope all is going well with you now.

Light housework???

My TAH/BSO was on March 2nd and I'm just now taking over some of the laundry, and cooking. You should take it easy. I found it helpful to remember that in the big picture who cares if the house is really messy for a few weeks, we have only this short time to get well right and then we can do all the chores we want!

Light housework???

That is right and like I have seen on here you only have one chance to heal right. You sure don't want any set backs. So take it easy. I tease my family that they have do these things for me for awhile. I tease them that I will let them know when they can stop. Ha. I may never. Just kidding. The help is nice.

Light housework???

I used the vacuum for the first time tonight. I only did one room. My DR told me to take it slow, don't try to do everything at once. I have only used the broom twice. And that was just in the past week. My boyfriend was very supportive and took what the DR said very serious. Almost to the extrreme at times. But, in the long run it really has paid off. Two weeks or maybe even two and a half I started taking little walks and now I am up to almost 3 miles a day. So ladies , please take what everyone says here to be good advice TAKE IT SLOW, PAMPER YOURSELF.

Take Care

Light housework???

I pay my neighbor to clean once a week. Load the dishwasher, bathrooms, floors, put the laundry on the table for me to fold, change sheets & make beds. I do little simple cooking and get her to help watch it so I am not up & up & up.

I make a list and she helps me do it. I do what I can, but that's not much. I can fold clothes and walk to put them away one small stack at a time.

SHe has a 2 yr old also, so they play in the toy room and watch TV. She will also watch DS so I can nap. She's great about running over if I need her in a pinch too. DH works long hours.

I am so thankful to God I can afford to pay her something. Not a lot, but enough she feels appreciated.

It uplifts my spirit to smell the cleanness.
