new here :0)

etMy name is Betsy I'm 33 and a mother to three children. One girl and two boys. I am also a wife to a soldier who is currently in Afghanistan. He left 2 weeks after I gave birth. I had my hysterectomy Sept 12th 2013 after delivering my youngest. My uterus began to hemorrhage uncontrollably and the Drs had to make the choice to save my life. I had to stay in the hospital for 5 days and had 7 units of blood transfused into me. They removed everything, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and a cyst that was in one of my ovaries. My ovaries were left inside. Besides that everything else is gone. My recovery has been all over the place, and I may feel this way because none of my close friends can relate to me. I'm glad I found this site.

Do you still have your cervix? Ladies that still have their cervix can have what is known as "mini periods" if the cervix is still intact.
