Depression ??

Is anyone else dealing with depression. A few days after my surgery I felt really down and just wanted to rage and cry !! poor DH. Then on the second week I felt great, but today is two weeks since my surgery and I have just felt really down again the last few days. Tired, not sleeping well, skin breaking out and very sad, alone and depressed again. Is this normal I've been on 1mg Estradiol since my third day of surgery.

I went through bouts of depression. One day I would be fine then out of nowhere, it would hit me, I would cry for no reason at all, at a stupid TV commercial, DH would talk to me and in my brain it would register something totally different and my meaning of what DH said would put me in tears and DH would try and explain that is not what he meant. I know alot of it was hormones {LAVH/BSO}. Its been getting better, I've been on Estraderm 0.05mg since my 2 wk checkup,every once in awhile I still get bouts of not sleeping, tired and hotflashes/nightsweats and skin breaking out, that really gets me mad{ I am 56yrs old, I shouldn't have zits like a teenager and have to buy acne cream, I didn't have it this bad when I was a teenager}. I just keep telling myself, I went through alot and the healing will take time.
