Fabulous 4-month mark!

Dec 12th was a changing day for me. I can't believe how I was chained to my terrible periods for so long. It is so freeing to not worry about my massive bleeding at any time. I'm feeling great, energy level is back, sleeping soundly, exercising and making plans for a couple half marathon runs and vacations. Sometimes I'm reminded of my surgery when I feel a slight pull on my left incision. My poor doc spent a lot of extra time pulling my HUGE fibroid out of that 1" cut. I use that slight discomfort to remind me to take care of myself. And I have sent a thank you note to my doc for taking such good care of me with pictures of my first race this year. I think my Hubs should send a thank you note too, cause sex keeps getting better and better each time. Take care gals, and I wish happy healing to you all!!!

Thankyou Mary Jo for your post, sharing what a positive outcome your surgery has been..I am so looking forward to not having any more pains and discomfort every month/day..God Bless you

So happy for you . I'm looking forward to feeling myself again. Im 8 weeks post op on monday and still sore. I had a TAH and have so many cramps in my tum every time i do more than a little walking. I was so fit b4 the Op ! Doc says i cannot return to work yet , but to be honest , i couldnt manage even if i wanted too. Looking 4ward to being where you are. Keep well xxx
