Throbbing pain in vagina
Curious ladies,
I am 9 weeks post TVH, I have insomnia and still have to take it easy during sex. My questions, I am feeling pretty back to normal, however this past week and the rush of Christmas come evening my have a sore, painful, throbbing vagina. And a burning pain in lower stomach. Anyone else feel this, this late in the game?

Re: Throbbing pain in vagina
Merry Christmas! Are you finding you're spending more time on your feet lately? I found that standing and walking more caused an aching feeling down below, like I could feel gravity pulling at my vagina. It is not unusual to feel strange pains, aches, pulls and twinges for many months post op. The fatigue lasts a while too. It's really true that initial healing is 6-8 weeks and full healing is 6-12 months. Hang in there honey, it does get better.

Re: Throbbing pain in vagina
Keep an eye on your temperature, I just got diagnosed with cellulitis at my belly button incision. From what I've read, you can also get cellulitis by your vaginal cuff. Extreme pain, high fever, funny discharge are all good things to watch for. I would call the Dr. and get it checked out, infection is not good, and can cause major problems. Hope you feel better soon.
