Two weeks post hysterectomy: Gettin there!

Well I'm almost two weeks post operation!!!! I'm kinda thinking I had hot flashes last night! I still have both of my ovaries so I don't know why I'd have these! It was so made that I was up half the night! Still having pain on my left side but other than that I'm doing ok! Hope everyone is doing well!! :-)

Hi sister! I am 2 weeks today! I am having hot and cold flashes but still have my ovaries. Doc says that there are some progesterone hormones your uterus produces so it is notmal to have minor mood swings and hot flashes. Also your body is recivering from a traumatic surgery. So hot flashes will hapoen as you begin to move around and it has to work hard. Hang in there. We can get through this!
