4 days to go

Hi i will try to keep it short after being sterilized in 1991 had nothing but trouble with my periods (heavy clots bleeding for 6 days) doctor sent me to for a scan come back womb lining thick in places, they then sent me for a hyndicopy they had a good look around in the womb said no problem gave me some tablets to slow the flow down they did not work. I then had a follow up appointment (with a different doctor) taking a flow chart to the hospital after looking at the flow chart they said we will remove your womb lining and this will stop the flow because it was now making me anemic. I then waited 9 months for the appointment to see another consultant who said on Tues 17th that he did not think that removing the womb lining would help if it did it would be short term have a hys so i was down to have my womb lining removed on the 24th oct now i am having a hys he also said have the ovaries removed found this site by chance can anyone give me some advice thank you

Awww Yeah I'm sure you are very nervouse i'm so sorry for that but hey thats fantastic to have your hubby there for you!!! I just asked my soon to be mother-in-law about the ovary thing and for her she has already reached menopause but still is having theese problems so fer her she said she is opting to have them removed also you may want to ask you doctor about that she said something about the hormones may be causing the problem or whatever not really sure but of course in any situation if at all possible I have been told try to keep them. I myself have decided to keep my left ovary it is the only one I have and the doc told me it looked good so it stays lol! But if you need to talk you can email me or leave a message anytime ok hoping you well xoxoxo
