Re: after 6 week

I would ask your Dr and also will your job work with you on not lifting? There is still healing going on and you do not want to strain anything!
I hope your Dr. puts you back out for at least 2 more weeks-----it's worth asking.
Hope your recovery goes good.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be lifting anything over 10 pounds for 8-10 weeks.

I understand our energy comes back between beeks 8-12 at 50 percent and 100 percent by 6 months or more

Be good to yourself and hopefully you can take another week off to heal

Re: after 6 week

Lifting restrictions vary by doctor and procedure and how you are healing. I was not to lift anything over 10 pounds for 6 weeks. Then was told to ease back into "life" as I was ready.

The fatigue factor is a strange thing to me. At 13 weeks I still feel like I am not even back to 50% energy level, but I am certainly better than I was at 6 weeks, and 8 weeks and 10 weeks. So it does get better.

How long it takes to really heal are all variations on the theme of "it just takes time". I have heard from several people that it can take up to 6 months to really feel better, and up to a year to really feel good an completely healed.

I am guessing that you are just going to have to ease back into work, and rest rest rest when you are home. Hope you get some answers from your doctor and that your Bladder infection heals soon, those make you feel just awful!
