LSH Deep vaginal pain 12 days post supracervical hysterectomy

Tonight (post op LSH)'12 days) I am experiencing deep vaginal pain with some spotting. Anyone else having these symptoms? I have so many symptoms.

I also had a LSH.

For my first 6 weeks post op...I had some vaginal/cervix healing twinges..that would come and go. Just a mild discomfort. I asked my Dr about it...at my first post op doctor's appt...and he said it was part of the healing process with my surgery.

I also had some post op spotting for about 3 weeks...and I read on Hyster Sisters that spotting for up to 6 weeks post op can be normal with a LSH.

That being said...if the pain continues into next week...you might put a call into your doctor...just to play it safe.

I suggest making a list of your symptoms and calling your doctor to discuss them. Did he tell you to expect spotting post op? I didn't keep my cervix so I'm not sure how much spotting is "normal" with a LSH. Generally the 6 weeks of spotting relates to women who have a vaginal cuff healing, but it may be helpful to clarify this with your doctor.
