Leg pain

Hi Sisters,

I have noticed the last few days that the back of my legs just ache all the time. Does anyone else have this ? My back & hips have been hurting for quite a while....but the leg pain is new.

I'm still waiting on tests so I will have a diagnosis, but based on my symptoms the Dr. seems to feel I have Endo. and possibly Adeno. Would either of these cause leg pain?

Thank you so much ! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend .

Love ,
Michelle

From what I have heard of leg pain and leg cramps, it is pressure form the ovary/uterus area on the arteries in your legs.

I had severe leg cramps when I was first diagnosed w/ fibroids. My daughter suggested eating a banana every day. She did it for her growing-pain teenage leg cramps. A banana gives you potassium.

I ate a banana every day for 4 months until my surgery. It REALLY, REALLY helped with cramps!!

Please check with your Dr. also.

Leg pain

I also have endo and adeno... and YES, I have hip, back and leg pain most of the time. It's very annoying. I'm not sure of it's cause, just hoping it will be GONE post surgery. Best of luck!

Leg pain

I had hip, leg (referred pain down upper leg), bloating and back pain before the surgery.

Mine was caused by my huge uterus pressing against my insides and pressing things against my back on the inside, and nerves getting pinched (causing the referred pain down the upper leg). I also had IBS-like symptoms from my bowels getting pressed against.

All are gone, Yeah!

IBS! oh my!

I was diagnosed with IBS about 4 years ago. This would be after my saga of menstrual symptoms began. I'm only 12 days post-op, so I can't tell if the IBS symptoms are cleared up - I'm still in that time of taking milk of mag every few days "to keep things moving". Hmmmm... I'll have to pay attention to that! Thanks for the tip!

As for the leg pain, I had pain, and my left leg was just plain swollen for the last couple of years with no medical explanation as to why one foot would be 1/2 size larger than the other. Now, both feet match again!

When I got home from surgery, my mother was visiting and she dashed off to our local large discount store and boght me a thing I thought she was just nuts for getting. But I've tried the silly looking self inflating booties and they are awesome. I velcro them on, put my relaxation cd in the player, slip into the headphones, set the timer on the booties for 20 minutes, put my coolpak across my incision and just literally "chill". They inflate and stop, inflate and stop for the 20 minutes. When they stop I take off the coolpak and my cd is finished a few minutes later, I'm much more comfy. If I could get someone to do a facial and/or manicure on me at the same time, it'd be like a princess spa trip without ever leaving my bedroom!
