Ouch is it gas?

I'm so uncomfortable. It's been a little over a week and it's still hard to have a B.M. & I have I think it's gas build up. It feels like my abdominal area is going to explode when I pee or try to have a movement. I have at least everyother day but is this feeling ever going away!

I'm sorry to say that it takes time. I'm 8 weeks post op and still get some gas discomfort once in a while. Are you taking any stool softers? I was taking them once in the morning and once at bedtime for about 3 weeks. Then once a day for 2 weeks at bedtime. On top of that I would eat prunes daily. You should ask your Dr what he/she recommends. Good luck and don't give up. It does get better!
