Castle Date moved up again Hints to get ready?

Well they moved my date up again (4/19) because now I cannot stand up for extended periods of time without pelvic pain. They think it is from the hemorrhage last weekend. I am on pain medication so I can sleep at night and have restrictions at work for lifting and standing. Dr. says there is nothing else they can do exept the hyst. I feel like I have so much to do in 10 days. I have the list from the website which has been very helpful. I would appreciate any tips from anyone else that might benefit would be great. I have 4 sons and a DH.

((( JackieD ))), I'm sorry that you're having so much pain and problems

I think that the best for you might be to try to rest and take good care of yourself. As weak as you are from the hemorrahage, please don't overdo and maybe hurt yourself. Ask peolpe to help when you need it. I found that they were very willing to help when they knew that you needed it

I had friends keep my DD while I was in the hospital, they cooked and brought food for when I got home, and ran errands.

Maybe you could make a list for your DH. He could help stock your pantry with easy to fix foods for your recovery. I also had my DH get a supply of fruit juices and popcicles ( things like that ).

Best wishes, you'll be in my prayers that all goes well for you.

Thank you

Thanks I did make a list today and my dear friend is comming from AZ to help me out and stay with DH and 4 DS so I can rest when I return home. DH brought home a recliner today so I'll have somewhere to sleep down stairs. I am so tired I just cannot wait to get it over with. I know I'll be in pain after but this has just been too much. I started bleeding again today and just wanted to cry. My sister said well I guess you'll be an "it" soon. I was so glad I read the forum first about the ways to respond and my DH got a good laugh when I told her that I was still going to be able to cook and clean what ever did she mean? Everyone here has been so helpful and given me so much in such a short period of time. I don't know what I would be doing (other than pulling my hair out) without this forum. Everyone has been so supportive during the most stressful time of my life. Thanks sooooooo much for giving me a place to talk.
