SwellyBelly vs Abdominal Support Binder

The Swelly Belly band offers abdominal support, as well as, a cooling effect to help aid in post-op swelling and itching around your incision. An abdominal support binder only offers tummy support.

You can also read the product descriptions in the HysterSisters Store. Both are available in the Store, sold separately or in a package to get both.

SwellyBelly vs Abdominal Support Binder

I loved my Swelly Belly Band!! Even though I only had 3 tiny incisions (LSH), I had a ton of swelling (still do in fact, but that's another story... lol). It added support and cooling comfort for the swelling. I only wish I had ordered mine before my surgery so I could have used it right away! Good luck to you!

SwellyBelly vs Abdominal Support Binder

I only have an abdominal binder. I completely appreciate it's support. I washed it the other day and ended up needing more pain med while I was not wearing it. As soon as it was back on, my pain reduced.

I like HEAT for my incision area. I tried ice while still in hospital. THAT was NOT helpful. Since being home, I appreciate the heat of the laptop on my tummy.

I hold the laptop in an odd way so that the heat of it is on my tummy. It's therapeutic in a number of ways.
