numb tongue

Ten days post op. Feeling good, trying not to over do it. The tip of my tongue has been numb. I'm thinking from the compression of the breathing tube, was under over 4 hours. Any one else experience this?

Re: numb tongue

I haven't seen anyone mention having a numb tongue... It makes sense it is probably from being intubated, or it could be the anesthesia itself. Has this been improving since you posted this?

Re: numb tongue

My tongue wasn't numb but part of my bottom lip was. I'm guessing also from the breathing tube. The numbness is gone now...yours will probably go away soon too.
