3 years post-op pain, has anyone had this diagnosed?

Hi. I had a DaVinci robotic laparoscopic radical vaginal hysterectomy. They took out everything! Lol. Talk about hot flashes, I didn't know your elbows could sweat! I had my surgery in 2012, so I am a little over three years post-op. I have this excruciating pain "up in there", that comes on quickly and leaves quickly. I also have a numb bladder (I don't usually know when I have to go to the bathroom) and if I have to have a BM, that can bring on the pain. Has anybody else experienced this so long post-op and had it diagnosed?

Re: 3 years post-op pain, has anyone had this diagnosed?

I am wondering if it is adhesions/ scar tissue causing the pain. As for the bladder, my sister can not feel the urge either.,she just goes when she thinks it is time? This could be a nerve involvement.
