Ovary Question

Hi,

Im having a hyster in november, not sure how yet so i can't pick an abreviation! - either laproscopically assisted or abdo. Anyways, they're leaving my ovaries, and i was wondering, seeing as i will have no use for them, is it possible to donate eggs after a hyster.

I have a friend who went through menopause at 20 and we were starting the donation process when all this mess started with my insides, I'd really like to be able to continue.

I've heard that sometimes the ovaries shut down, and sometimes they come back again.... im not really sure what to expect.

Hmmm, good questions, give your doctor a call. I think the ovaries shut down for awhile but not for everyone. Wish I could help more!
