Ok Ladies, Are You Ready For An Ear Full. I Need To Vent!

I AM SURE I AM GOING TO BE LONG WINDED, SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME. I HAVE TO TELL THE WHOLE STORY.

RIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING OF THIS YEAR MY BACK WENT OUT ON ME. STARTED SEEING A BACK SPECIALIST HE RECOMMENED BACK SURGERY. HE HAD IT ALL SCHEDULED FOR JAN 22. BUT MY GRANDMOTHER WAS SICK WITH LUEKEMIA AND SHE PASSED AWAY ON JAN. 9TH. I KNEW SHE WASN'T GOING TO BE HERE LONG WITH US. BUT WHEN SHE PASSED AWAY I WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED. SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD. THERE WASN'T A DAY I DIDN'T TALK TO HER AT LEAST 2 OR 3 TIMES A DAY.

I HAD TO CANCEL MY BACK SURGERY AND IT WAS RESCHUDELED FOR MARCH 18TH.

WELL, FEB. 5TH I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MY APPENDIX NEEDED TO COME OUT. SO I WAS RUSHED INTO SURGERY IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING ON THE 6TH.AND HAD THEM REMOVED. COME TO FIND OUT AFTER THEY ARE REMOVED THAT THEY DIDN'T NEED TO COME OUT.

I WENT HOME THE 12 HOURS AFTER I HAD MY APPENDIX OUT TO BE WITH MY CHILDREN BECAUSE MY HUSBAND WAS ON THE ROAD AGAIN, WORKING AS USUAL. HE ALWAYS SEEMS TO MISS THE BIG EVENTS IN MY LIFE LIKE,WHEN MY GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY.

IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT I SEE MY OBGYN TO CONSULT BECAUSE THE SAW THAT ONE OR BOTH OF MY OVARIES WERE INFLAMED. SO I GO SEE HIM FEB. 25. HE EXAMINES ME AND TELLS ME THAT I HAVE THIRD DEGREE UTERINE PROLAPSE AND THAT I NEED TO HAVE A TVH. I ALSO HAVE TO HAVE MY BLADDER AND MY RECTUM REPAIRED.

I AM TOTALLY SCARED AND ALONE. MY HUSBAND INFORMS ME LAST NIGHT THAT HE WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME FOR MY SURGERY. AGAIN ANOTHER IMPORTANT AND SERIOUS THING IN MY LIFE AND HE IS NOT GOING TO BE HERE TO HOLD MY HAND OR LEND SUPPORT. I AM SO SICK OF LIVING MY LIFE WAITING ON HIM TO BE PART OF MY LIFE.

NOT ONLY DO I MISS OUT ON HAVING SOMEONE TO STAND BESIDE ME , BUT OUR CHILDREN ARE MISSING OUT ON HAVING A FATHER. I LOVE MY HUSBAND BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

I AM SURE HE WILL NOT BE HERE FOR THE BACK SURGERY THAT IS RESCHEDULED FOR A MONTH FROM MY TVH.

THERE IS ONE GOOD THING.SINCE HE CAN'T BE HERE HE DOES MAKE ENOUGH MONEY FOR US TO HIRE A NANNY. WHICH I DID!

I AM SORRY TO ALL I JUST NEEDED TO LET THIS ALL OUT. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS ALONE. BUT I GUESS I WILL.

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK THE FOUNDERS OF HYSTER SISTERS. IT IS REALLY GREAT AND ALL THE WOMEN I HAVE MEET THE FEW TIMES I HAVE BEEN IN THE CHAT ROOM , ARE WONDERFUL AND VERY HELPFUL!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

((((((LISA)))))))

Lisa

So sorry about everything that has gone on in your life these past couple of months. So very sorry to read about your Grandma. Sometimes things just seem so unfair. Any time you feel like venting, there are plenty of ladies here who will listen.

A problem shared is a problem halved.

All the very best for your surgeries and recoveries. I hope the nanny works out well for you.

Regards
Gail

Oh my gosh, what a trying few months you have had! I am so sorry for the loss of your Grandma. Is there anyone that can be with you while your dh is gone? I am sure having a nanny come in is a comfort, one less thing to worry about. My thoughts are sure with you at this time! The sisters are here for you, so come on line anytime.

Ok Ladies, Are You Ready For An Ear Full. I Need To Vent!

Hi Lisa,
I got to meet you in the chat room the other night and just saw your post. My heart goes out to you . You sure have had a lot on your plate these past few months. But just remember, we are here for you anytime you want to vent. As you saw the other evening, there is a lot of wonderful support from the women on this site. They have been wonderful. I wish I had known about this place before my surgery. Anyway, have you made any decisions since your "chat" the other night? You got off to talk your husband on the phone. Please let us know how you are making out, everyone was worried about you.
Best wishes and hugs,
Melissa

THANK YOU!

Thank you for answering my post. Yes, sometimes life is unfair. I have learned that you have to pick yourself up, dust off your clothes and move on. I have decided to make no new life changes in my life until I have healed from both surgeries. I am not ready mentally to make these changes. I just know that I have alot of soul searching to do before I can make them. My thoughts are only on getting well and taking care of my children.
Thanks again.

vent

Applepie,

Venting is good...crying is good. I'm glad that you will get your body fixed and healed before you do any other life altering thing.
When we hurt, our minds don't work so well.

I'm concerned that you are speaking of having two surgeries 30 days apart...perhaps I misread.

I'm sorry about your Grandmother...I don't know why death hurts us so much.

Take the love for your Grandmother and turn it around...talk with her and listen to her answers... let her give you strength.

We're here too.
