Question: re bowels
I have a question regarding the bowel post. Does everyone need to empty their bowels? My doctor has not mentioned anything to me. I am having a LSH next month. Thanks.

Some doctors and surgeries require a bowel prep. Some doctors don't .... when is your pre-op? That would be the best time to ask what the doctor wants.

Pre-op is December 11th and surgery is the 13th. I'll ask then. I wish I would have thought to ask today, but I may call the nurse in the morning.

It can't hurt to call and ask. It would be good to know ahead of time. I think that the last thing that you would want is to have to run around on the 12th getting the necessary items for a bowel prep!
