Glad to hear you are doing so well!!!!!! I am feeling pretty darn good too!!!! The only problems I have had that are bothersome are a couple of infections........was hoping to be done with those, but I guess that is something I will continue to deal with, but LOVE the fact that I haven't had any more problems with migraines, cramps and all that!!!!!! Best wishes to you!!!!!

Maria - Good for you girl!! I have one day on you and i am pretty much back to normal. and like you I get tired at the end of day and a larger swelly belly. I am dealing with the hot flashes but just at night not to much during the day. I am taking "natural" hormones, so i am trying to get myself regulated. Haven't tried any of my normal clothes (unless its really really loose) don't like anything close to swelly belly. I am a very fortunate woman I haven't work for a couple of years due to other surgeries and then this one and then a big move from the west coast to here in middle Tennessee. Taking my time and getting settled here in the "south". Best wishes and looking forward to getting better with all the 5th week'rs.

hi to all the 5th weekers! I have been doing great too but a little swelly belly today-probably from wearing my jeans 2 days in a row or a bit too much vacuuming. When you feel fine, then you vacuum thinking it won't affect you but it does! I am not doing any hormones and just have to deal with hot flashes mainly at night. I am hoping I don't get any mood changes/swings! Hang in there all you 5 weekers!

Hello, am also 5 weeks!! I am back into my jeans, just not all of them! In fact, I use some wrinkle reducer spray on the tops of my jeans and pull on them. It really helps because I also have some swelly belly left. My biggest complaint so far is the fatigue. My house is getting messy again and I'm just not in the mood. So I'm leaving it for another day (mon??). Some days I just want to lay on the sofa, so I do. But otherwise, I'm on the go and busy until evening, but I still won't push the vacuum.
Hope all 5 weekers are doing well!!

I am not quite as far along as you ladies. But its getting better each day. The good news is that I lost weight, the bad news is that my swelly belly means I'm still wearing elastic waistbands for comfort or clothes that are looser on me. Comfort reigns!

I am in normal clothes all day, I don't think I have any problems with swelly belly, but I think after that big monster was removed from my belly, I lost a bit of bulk, so maybe I don't notice the swelly belly.
I go back to work next week, I'm looking forward to it at the same time, dreading it. I only work 20 hours a week, but I'm a librarian at a elementary school. When I'm there, I'm 'on' for the kids. I usually have loads of energy and work non stop for the amount of time I'm there. I expect I'll be a little slow and maybe not quite as up as normal.
Before I go back , I want to go shopping and get some new clothes. Maybe I should look at the elastic waistbands just in case I get swelly!?

I'm a 5 weeks also. Feel very good except for a few minor aches and the famous swelly belly! I go to the doctor on Monday and will get clearance to return to work the following Monday. My 50th birthday is Wed next week and I figured I owed it to myself to still be out of work!!! Aren't I bad??? I think I deserve it! I'm still wearing sweats but think I'll try to wear my jeans one day soon! Not sure about my work clothes but most are zipper style so I'm sure I will get uncomfortable by the end of the work day. I've started doing more around the house also and it feels good! Glad to hear many of us are doing really well.

I am also 5 weeks. Most of the time I have felt pretty good. But the last few days I have over done it. I started walking at week 2, not very far. Then, since last Saturday I felt really good. I pushed it up to 3 miles, then 3.5 and then up to 4. Well yesterday I felt just plain wore out. I did not walk at all, could not talk myself into it at all. Today I walked about 3.5 miles. Now tonight I have been in bed since about 6:30. Just plain wore out again. It is suppose to rain tomorrow, thank goodness. I plan on not walking at all. I have also planned on now housework tomorrow either. We will see how that goes !!!

Take Care
Danette
