Women who kept cervix, how did it all work out for you?

Hi, just looking for others experiences. I'm just 3months post op. Kept my ovaries and cervix. Had fibroid, polyp, and adenomyosis. Been still having some of the adeno pain in what feels would be my cervix during what would be "that time of the month".
I've heard of some women having to go back in. I really don't want to as I'm petrified of the cuff O.o

What have any of your experiences of keeping your cervix been, good and bad. Thank you & hope all is well <3

So far, so good for me. I haven't had any spotting (extremely thankful) I do have what you could call cramps every once in a while... my periods were so sporadic that I can't say whether they are always tied to my cycle. It is nothing like before... I used to hurt so bad, my legs would buckle.

14+ months post op. I started getting mini periods immediately. Mild cramping/moodiness and the slightest amount of spotting. This month I started spotting MID CYCLE, 14 days now, so not happy this month. Hopefully this is the only time it happens. Hormones, maybe?

I totally agree about the nothing like before. Thank goodness. I'm just hoping that these few days of stabbing pain will go away :/ I'd like to did out what a life with no pain feels like xD

Re: Women who kept cervix, how did it all work out for you?

I kept my cervix and ovaries. Its been 5 months and no spotting at all since my recovery period. I am extremely happy with my surgery. I have my life back and looking forward to this summer. For the first time in 6 yrs I can wear white. Prior to my surgery my bleeding was so heavy I had to wear adult pull-ups because I would bleed through everything else. Best wishes on your recovery.

Its been 17 months for me & no periods. I had maybe 1 bout with minimal cramping that lasted for about 2 hours. That was about 6 months ago. Wishing you an uneventful recovery.
