Shopping venture too soon? (9 days post op)

I ventured to the grocery store at about 9 or 10 days post-op, made it down about 2 aisles and went back to sit in the car while Hubby finished up. Riding in the car seemed to be about the only thing that really bothered me - there is no way I could have done a 45 min trip at 9 days, a 30 min trip at 3 weeks was almost more than I could do.

I agree, it is too early. I ventured on public transport at week 3 ( 5 minutes trip + 10 minutes walk to the bus stop) and was exhausted on my return. Carrying a box of shoes and a pair of trousers was a BIG LOAD and I did have a coffee break halfway!

Another time I decided to walk to our local school (10 minutes walk) and had to ask a friend for a lift back home!
