Bowel prep today - what to eat prior?

I am scheduled to arrive at 5am tomorrow and have to do the bowel prep today. The pre-op nurse and my dr said to start the drink at 4pm but in the midst of it all I forgot to ask what I could eat today - if anything? I know that once I start I am on liquid diet until 11pm and then nothing...but any suggestions on if its better to stay with a liquid diet all day or just eat more bland foods? The day prior to my surgery I was given a liquid diet and told to do the bowel prep late in the afternoon.

I have been told to be on a clear fluid diet the day of my bowel prep. This would include clear juices and drinks (including pulp free OJ), popsicles, clear soups, jello etc. but nothing solid!
