Swelly belly is worse

Ok I'll go first...

Today, after weeks of frustration that DH was NEVER going to do it, I cleaned the car. There was a layer of kid related stuff and by-products on the floor, milk on the doors, you name it. Oh. that was after I walked three blocks to our local car part store, then i walked back carrying approx 6 pounds of car related items because at the time the car was on the fritz.

Why do I regret this? Swelly belly is worse and bladder/cuff are seriously annoyed with me! I am also wiped out. 6 week visit is tomorrow, hope my doctor is forgiving.

OK. I wil confess that I have broken the rules every day for the last 3 weeks. I have issues with keeping the house clean. Today I swept, mopped, cooked a big dinner, scrubbed the bathroom.

My last post op appt is next week. Dr is not going to be too happy. I had a TAH with both ovaries removed.

geez you would have to go here today of all days!! What I want to know is, how did you know!?

I couldn't take it anymore, I cleaned both my bathrooms (not the tubs) and dusted my house. Made a nice dinner for DH and cleaned up afterwards. The swelly belly is definitely raging and I have some twangs going on. I'm just going to take some advil and rest. My 6 week is on Tuesday. I think I am safe.

I hope you don't pay too bad tomorrow. I always seemed to feel bad the day after I over did things!!

I think we need a new mantra (or something ).

I told myself "hey I'm lying across the back seat grabbing this trash, not sitting and bending! Reaching over the top of the dashboard to scrape off the dust isn't bad...I'm not using any abdominal muscles when I sit and vacume the car carpet...

Ibuprofen here I come...

BAD GIRL!!!!!!!

I'm 3 wks post op., and I guess I should'nt have done too much laundry today...and I helped my daughter clean her room (it was a mess). There. There's my confession. I feel better now.

Hopefully everyone recovers from over-doing it......

HA! not using your abs yeah right! I have a new appreciation for my abs after this surgery. I did not realize how much we use those muscles on a constant basis. Even the way I sit in my chair outside I have realized how much I use my abs. The question now is...why don't I have six-pack abs?!?!?!?!

Im 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I have mopped my kitchen, thrown laundry down a flight of stairs LOL washed it I drove and I pulled some weeds out of the garden. And to top it all off I sat down and took a bath. I know nothing in the vagina but I needed a good soak in the tub not a shower. My Dr's appoint is next Thursday.........

ok, I have to put my 2 cents worth here too...but it just wasnt today. I have been very bad since I was one week post-op. Things like yard work and laundry. dragging my 2 yr old up and down the stairs,cooking and other things. Keeping the house clean is my biggest pet peeve. I have to have it spotless. Hubby was out of town the last two weeks so I was on my own with my two boys...(5 & 2) But now the last two days I have been good..at least I think I have. Hubby home and trying to help. So, I guess I have been lucky that I didnt doing anything serious.
Will be a good girl from now on....(promise)
