experience with femhrt 1/5

Anyone with experience taking this? I just started it today.

I started taking femhrt 1 week after my surgery on December 17th. DR started me on 1 pill a day. I was still having hot flashes and terrible night sweats, and insomnia. Then he had me try 1 in the morning and 1 at night. This helped tremendously with the hot flashes. The night sweats were still there but not nearly as bad, although I still could not go to sleep unless I took Tylenol PM.
I felt pretty good during the day, but my legs and hands started retaining fluid and I also was experiencing a lot of breast tenderness. So yesterday he took me off the femhrt and I am trying Ortho Pretest now. This is my first day of taking it so we'll see how it goes. Honestly I felt the femhrt was ok, but I don't want to have to put up with swollen legs and hands and breast tenderness. There are so many different hrts to try, and I have found so many different opinions on them all. I guess each of our bodies are different and not every one will react the same to the same hrt. unfortunately it seems to be mostly trial and error till we find what's suited best to our own bodies. It's been very frustrating for me! I wish you the best of luck!
