Peace and Clarity at last!!!

I just wanted to share that after two and a half months of stress and frustration and 4 opinions(4 mostly because of the mess with insurance---blah) I finally have peace and clarity on a course of action.

I will be going with Dr #3--after having a follow up appt with him today. Although I am still not thrilled with the concept of a TAH, I felt like he listened to my concerns, and was willing to address the fact that the Hyst isn't going to stop the PMS(PMDD?) that makes me evil half the month. He was willing to meet me half way--giving me the depo I needed to regulate the pms symptoms while I met him on the abdominal incision. He listened and treated me like an adult....something that was lacking with two of the four I saw.

For those still figuring out what way to go....don't give up. Keep asking questions....and don't stop till you are comfortable with your choice.

Marianne, that is wonderful. I did not read your stories, but I am glad that someone was finally willing to help you. It is awful when no one would listen to you and concerns. You know your body, so you should never be dismissed. Good luck in your treament.

I wanted anything but a TAH but I am glad I had it that is the only way
a Dr can look at everything and it wasn't that bad . I wish you the best .
