Dry skin and cystic acne - WHAT?!?!

Just need to vent....

I'm so ready for my hormones to level out! I've got some awful cystic acne going (I have a wonderful HUGE sore/cyst on my forehead that my hairstyle just seems to frame perfectly! ARGH!), and other parts of my face are so dry I'm dealing with ugly flaking! (especially my nose!). How can I have such dry skin and such horrible acne at the same time!?!

I had my hysterectomy 3 1/2 years ago. I experienced acne too. I will tell you, it gets better. I had NEVER had pimples/cysts like I experienced the first few months after surgery. With time, my face did level out and the pimples went away the breakouts were less frequent. : )

Meeee toooooo, i had tah on nov 29th and ive erupted in acne and my skin is sooooooo dry and flaky, ive been using baby oil with aloe vera for my skin and thats helped loads but the acne is still there ,finally started on hrt patches this monday following the all clear from my pathology results so hopefully that will help as i have no ovaries, hope things improve for you onwards and upwards xx
