Beginning to worry
Hi all. Had my hyst on March 17th. Since then, the serous fluid discharge has gotten worse. It has no smell and is light pinkish in color.
I've already gone through one package of Serenity Pads and opened a new pack yesterday.
It drains constantly and I'm changing pads every couple of hours. It looks like a baby's wet diaper. And it doesn't matter if I'm laying down or up moving around, it just keeps on coming, but when I do sit or stand up, I feel more of a gush rather than just leaking.
My one week postop appt was last week and she checked it and swabbed and said it looked normal, but I have to wonder since it's so much. She did mention the possibility of a fistula... great.
I have an appt with the urologist about the kidney/bladder stent, and with my gyn again on Wed. Hopefully they can give me some answers but I am quickly losing faith in my gyn and feeling very much like I should not have done this surgery.
I'm really worried - something just doesn't feel right.
Anyone else having excessive serous fluid drainage?

Beginning to worry
I think you need to get back to your DR and have this checked again. It does not sound normal to me. I have heard of this on here before and it seems that at least in some cases there was an issue that needed to be dealt with.
I'm sorry your suffering with this,
Hugs,
Starbgirl
