Makes no difference... in a tubal ligation, it's the tubes that are blocked/severed, not the blood supply to the ovaries.

The uterine artery and the ovarian artery are both involved in supplying blood to the ovaries. Interestingly, in different women the degree to which either vessel supplies blood to the ovaries varies, which is why some women will experience temporary or permanent ovarian failure after the uterine artery is cut and some won't.

In addition to the possibility that the ovary/ovaries will shut down temporarily or permanently right after surgery, there are also studies which have shown that, on average, women who keep their ovaries with a hysterectomy (assuming they continue to work) will experience natural menopause a few years earlier than women who have not had a hysterectomy.
