maybe TMI but please read!

Hi ladies,

I am 6 days post LAVH, i'm sorry if this is a to much info question but im scared.

After my op my gyn said that op went well was able to leave my 1 remaining ovary after a bit of work. But he also said that my vaginal wall was very weak and he imagines that this will cause more prolapse issues in future.

I was curious as to what it looked like 'down there', if it was bruised etc. so I got a mirror and looked. My vagina looks blocked up!!!! Is this just swelling due to op?????

Has any1 experienced this or is it possible that more prolapse has happened.

Im freaking out, had vag prolapse from 23rd may, finally thought i was on road to recovery, and the thought of this is bit much!!!!

Yes, I looked all blocked up, too!! A lot of it was swelling, but I do have a bit of a rectocele now. I've been trying to do what I can to prevent it from getting any worse, such as kegels and no heavy lifting. I also think my swelling had to do with hormonal changes in the vaginal tissues. Hope this helps
