Post-surgery massage?

Hello,
I had a DaVinci hysterectomy on October 27. Everything went well, my doctor only needed to do 3 small incisions (belly button, and 1 each left and right from it), and I feel pretty good. I scheduled a massage for this coming Monday, which would make it almost 2 weeks post-op. At my pre-op I asked my doctor about going to the chiropractor, and he said there were no restrictions. I forgot to ask about the massage, and I just now remembered. Any thoughts?

I can't see any problem with a massage as long as you can take laying on your stomach. If it hurts in certain positions or where they are massaging then have to stop.

Thank you so much! This is what I figured - as long as I tell the therapist to not massage in the general belly area, I should be ok. Looking forward to a relaxing hour. :-)
