Sex while spotting?

I'll be 5 week post op on Thurs and with minimal spotting, is it ok to have sex? Romantic weekend planned with boyfriend... :/

It's not OK to have sex until your DR has released you. For most women that's between 6 and 8 weeks post op but can be longer if you haven't healed well enough yet, which sounds like it may be the case if you're spotting.

Ask your DR. The weekend won't be so romantic if it lands you in the ER.

Thanks for the advice. I'll call Dr tomorrow or Tuesday for followup. Maybe I'll stop spotting before the trip.
