Hello my name is Traci and I just turned 30 years old in May. Anyway, I have found out that I will have to have a Vaginal Hysterectomy, my bladder, rectum and uterus is prolapsed past the point of no return, my wonderful doctor told me that surgery is the only option for me, she also wants me to try and lose some weight before I have this surgery done, so I am going to try this first. I just would like some info on all of this from others to see how they did with this. I have not set a date to have my sugery since I will try to lose some of my weight first. Thanks for all in help in advance. I would love to hear from you.

Hi Traci!

I've moved your post here to the Pre-Op forum so that you can start getting support from your Sisters. You'll meet other pre-op Sisters here as well as some who have already had surgery. They will help answer your questions and concerns while sharing their experiences with you.

Good luck to you in losing some weight and best wishes for your surgery and recovery!

That's tough news to hear at any time. It sounds like you have time to get a second opinion if you need one. It's a big move and you need to be certain it's the right one. You'll be in our thoughts.
