For hysterectomy: what is the difference between dVH recovery and TVH with TVT

Hi gals,

Can anyone tell me what the difference in recovery time for the Dvh and the TVH with TVT? It seems the Dvh gals are up earlier. I'm not implying it's any less painful or serious, I don't know what to expect from my TVH/TVT. Does one of the recovery for one blend into the other? Does the Sling extend the TVH recovery?

Also, does anyone think I will need a ring cushion for my drive home? I've notice some mention sitting on a travel pillow. Will that help with the TVH?
