Has anyone used Lupron in conjunction with Provera to stop bleeding?

I Have been on Lupron for 4 months and my bleeding never subsided. Still had gushes and bleeding every day...still do. Went to the ER a month ago because my bleeding intensified (Filling a fat overnight pad in 10 minutes!) They ended up prescribing Provera 3 times a day in conjunction with the Lupron. I am still bleeding. It's been 3 months strait. Anyone relate to this? Thank you for your support.

H gonnabfree-
I don't have the answer you want- but I do have a question. How are your iron levels? Are they keeping up on that? I thought Lupron was only approved for 6 months? My dr. suggested it at first (to avoid an abdominal) and then changed his mind due to the poss. of heavy bleeding with my iron being a concern. Why did you start on Lupron?

Thank you for your support. I have been taking Lupron for 4 months total and my iron levels have not improved. Holding steady at around 10. I am taking Iron 3 times a day and have been for the past 6 months.
I started on Lupron to improve my Iron level and help shrink fibroids to make surgery easier. My LAVH is Monday. Thanks.
