Running with a 9cm X 11cm fibroid

I am 50 and in almost exactly the same situation as you. My main problem is urinary frequency and incontinence. My fibroid is deep in the pelvis 11cmx11cmx10 cm and pressing on my bladder and veins from the leg. Apparently if removed I will need a TAH of the proper invasive kind (not laporoscopically). I wondered how you had got on. I am also wondering if it will shrink when I hit the menopause and I can just leave it, but something tells me that may not be a realistic option. Hope all went well with your operation. Perhaps you are no longer on this site, too busy running!
