Anyone out there suffered with "nerve damage" since hyster !

Hello - I am now 13 weeks post op - and have been suffering real discomfort like a "bruising" feeling down below. My doctor has examined me and has found that I have a bladder prolapse but she thinks I may be also be suffering with nerve damage. My Dr. has given me Amitriptyline tablets (10mg) (to help with the symptoms) but it is making me an absolute zombie !

Going back to see gyny early January re cystersele ! has anyone else suffered with this uncomfortable feeling too?.

Thankyou.

Yes the Amitriptyline does tend to make one groggy but the good news is you will become adjusted to it and it will not make you that way in about a week. Sorry about the possible nerve damage. I have nerve damage in my hand and it is NO fun!! Hope you get some answers soon.
