Why so Stinking tired?

I started my period Friday and going strong. 2weeks & 4days after the last one. Scheduled for the 25th and I am totally exhausted. I have to work all week and go home to 3 kids and a hubby. Any ideas on how to keep going until Monday. Taking iron so that I don't get anemic. What would be good to do now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's probably NOT what you want to hear, but you really need to rest as much as you can... take it easy... maybe find a way to go get a manicure and a pedicure... take some "me" time.... take a nap... stuff like that. Due to my lack of real sleep lately, I've been a bit cranky (to put it politely)... today I finally got to the point that I kicked my dh & ds out of the house this evening I hope you feel better soon... keep your eye on the light at the end of the tunnel, it will all be over soon s!!

I agree. Leave undone whatever does not absolutely have to be done. Take some time to rest NOW. The unfinished stuff is not going anywhere. Hope you will be be feeling better soon.

Even with taking Iron you may still get anemic. I know I am fighting it too. Watching the numbers go up and down depending on how much I bleed and what I do. Most don't ever realize what damage you can do to your body if you leave it untreated. So even though I am not taking my own advice..... take it easy

Hi girls
Waiting is definately the worst part. I also went through the emotional rollercoaster ride. 5 weeks out I was full of anxiety thinking of all the negative stuff.. 3 weeks out still feeling scared but reading all the pre op advice on this site. Stay away from the other stuff. 2 weeks out feeling calm and very ready. 1 week out I decided to book a holiday as a reward for myself. 4 days pre op I booked a holiday and started looking at what I will do when I'm on holiday, travel insurance etc. It gave me something positive to put my energy into. Some of the best advice I read on here was to be put under with a smile on your face. Hopefully you will feel you have more energy if you are doing something you want to do.
Good luck

Thanks for the info. I will try to rest. LOL My two year old is really needy for mommy right now. I am trying to get my 15 yr old to step up to the plate for me. Wish I had girls, have all boys. I am trying to put my house back together after a house fire in December and gave up on the 60 or so boxes in the basement. Of anyone in Kansas need clothes. I am drowning in clothes from donations and what we got back from the cleaners. I need a holiday, I think just being in the house with out kids would be nice. Just for a few days. Thanks again. Heading to bed. Try to sleep.
