Anyone waiting for pathology results?

I am new here and had my surgery last Thursday. Waiting for pathology results since they found a cyst that looked malignant. Each day is taking forever.

Re: Anyone waiting for pathology results?

I just had my surgery today. Yep waiting to see what my alien is - scar or worse. Ultrasounds couldn't tell and couldn't get Hysteroscopy through scarred cervix

Re: Anyone waiting for pathology results?

My pathology report took 5 days (although I'd been told it would be 5-10), and I was very relieved that everything was benign. Some abnormal growths seemed to have been causing the postmenopausal bleeding, not cancer. I hope you have the same result! Sending good wishes for good news. ravella

Re: Anyone waiting for pathology results?

Yes they weren't available at my post op and when the consultant chased them he was told they take 3 months!!!!
I trust there is nothing major to worry about.

Re: Anyone waiting for pathology results?

Mine were available at my 2 week post op. I am sure if there is something to worry about and they get them earlier they will let you know. Good luck!

That sounds about right from what mine were.

Re: How long did your pathology reports take?

Thankfully, cancer wasn't a concern for me so I didn't worry about it. They told me it was clear at my 2 week post-op check up.
