agoraphobic and bleeding more than normal 13 days post op

I am terrified..i had catheter in for 13 days and took it out prior to Dr visit at Dr request, knowing there could be a seriously good chance at problems. My doc told me at my appointment I have to self cath for the next 2 weeks keeping track of how much I urinate due to bladder not knowing when its empty or full and won't empty all the way. First time no cath..30 mm after visit. Another 4 hours peed without cath...10mm of blood. My husband called doc and he said put a pad on and if in an hour im still bleeding go to the hospital I may have torn myself pushing too hard.. I had all my pelvic organs prolapse stage 3 with cysts on ovaries. I am agoraphobic and terrified. I put on the pad and I am still bleeding like heavy period which is insane because I have no uterus! Feels like its coming from bladder.i haven't told my husband cuz he will send me on the first thing smoking to the hospital. Is this amount normal? Do I HAVE to go...i can't do this twice! I already went by ambulance the day I got out due to blood clots and they plugged the cath and backed me up with a 101.3 fever...i need answers asap please I beg you before I hyperventilate

You really need to call your doctor with your question, especially since you have already had a bleeding complication.

Extensive bleeding can definitely be a sign that you have torn something and you need it repaired. This bleeding is completely different than what you had during a period. A period is the endometrium shedding from inside the uterus.

If the blood is bright red and fills a pad an hour, you need medical attention ASAP.

Please go to hospital . I know having agoraphobia makes everyday things so very difficult , I truly understand as I was agoraphobic before . I have general anxiety now and it can really get me worked up . You can do this !
Please get the medical attention you need before it turns into something worse .

Try not to hyperventilate. Do the old breathe in a bag trick otherwise. Please tell your husband. I understand you are scared but if you get it checked by a professional sooner rather than later it should reduce the time away from home.

What happened? Did you tell him? I do not have agoraphobia nor do I pretend to know how it feels, but I can say that saving your life is what's important here. If your house was burning, God forbid, you'd leave it to save yourself, right? Same concept here. If you have medication, take it. If you have meditation exercises, do them. Whatever you can to get through this honey. You can do it! Especially with a partner by your aide that loves you very much. :-)

Wow...thank you ladies...i did not know this is where you see replies and just came across it. I had figured nobody had anything to say. I still have not gone to my Dr. Over this and am still bleeding heavy with it picking up this a.m. There was blood all over my sheets and I have to say it was very alarming. After my husband and friends trying to get me to go to see the Dr. I still can't bring myself to go. I do however have an appointment with my general medical Dr. On Monday for my medication for my anxiety problems. My Dr knows what I need when I go in and it is not as traumatic as going other places that I'm not familiar with...ie: my surgeons office. I am going to speak to her and pray for the best...and if I know my husband and I do...he will take an off the path rd and land me at my surgeons. I hope he does...but again I hope he don't.

I also had a cath for 14 days. Dr ordered an xray of bladder to make sure there were no leaks before removing cath. Dr also had me stay in area, pee twice, then come back to office in a couple hours. They the had me pee and recathed me to make sure my bladder was emptying properly. It is all so scary, i know. Dont take a chance with excess bleeding. My heart and prayers go out to you!
