4 Days post-hysterectomy - totally exhausted

Hi, I am 4 days post-op from a TLH , kept both overies. My question is, I am totally exhausted. Going to the bathroom I feel like I have to take an hour nap afterwards. Otherwise I feel good, still a little gassy but just so tired. Is this normal?

Re: 4 Days post-op

It sure is Hun, it does get better took 2 weeks for me to be half decent. I also had adhesions removed from my bowels so going for me is like hell.

Re: 4 Days post-op

For me, the first week, I was out of energy by 6 pm, wanting to go to bed. I forced myself to stay up until around 8' thinking that if I went to bed at 6 I would be up at 2 am. After that, every day I lasted a little longer until at last I was back to normal.
