TLH: One or two weeks before returning to work?

I too am having TLH and cystectomy but mine is on Tuesday. I plan on taking as much time as needed. My job too is very demanding of me but what good am I to them if I can't give it my all? Good luck on Monday!

Hate to be a spoil sport but there is always a chance for complications. I had a bladder laceration and had to go back two days later for surgical repair. I took 6 weeks off as planned despite setback. was quite tired and sore at first and it took another month to feel almost normal. Now I am almost 4 months out and feel great most days.

My advice is to not push yourself and give yourself time to decide once you have been through the surgery and know how you feel.
