Super bladder

Because I had very large fibroids and a big uterus, I always had a sensitive bladder with those sudden urges when I stood. One of the first things I noticed post-op after noticing my stomach was flat, was that I had no sudden urge to use the bathroom. Even now, 3.5 weeks later, I can hold my urine forever if I want to! Lol... I don't think I'll ever experience panic about urination ever again! Just a funny little thing I can appreciate about my surgery.

I know how you feel. I had a bladder sling and repair done. The Dr said I needed to try to cut back on urinating to 5-6 times a day. I thought she must be crazy! I was going like 15 times a day, no exaggeration they made me count it, even I was surprised. Now after surgery I go 6 or less times a day. I can take a drink without feeling like I have to use the bathroom. I can sleep all night without getting up to go . I feel like a new woman, Who knew by bladder had taken over my life?

I feel the same way. I drank a pop and big glass of milk this morning before work. Normally, I'd be running to the bathroom two or three times before lunch and now I can make it until well after. It's awesome not living close to the bathroom.
