My surgery went well I had everything removed and they were able to do it laproscopically. I was home from the hospital the next day and was on my way to recovery. I stayed on top of my pain medication, and took it really easy the first month,being careful not to over do it. I was back to work after about 2 months. I was about a year getting back to my "new" normal. It does take a little time and patience, but I have no regrets. and the best part...now more heavy periods. They also got all the precancerous cells that had developed in my uterus, but I will have pap tests for the next 5 years just as a precaution even though my cervix was removed.
