Pain and Sadness

This has been the hardest week in my life. I totally lost it at my dad's military ceremony. He had a 21 gun shot salute. It was beautiful. I've lost 10 pounds this week. Every time I eat my stomach hurts and I have to run to the bathroom. I am hoping it is stress. My 13 year old daughter took it as hard as me. My 23 year old mentally handicapped daughter initially wouldn't go up to the casket, but I was able to bring her up after we were there awhile. My parents just were married 59 years. For the past 17, they have been together for 24 hours a day. I am trying to console myself knowing that he is now not suffering, but I miss him terribly. We are talking about adding a room onto our house for my mom. I don't want her to be alone. She will be 79 in September. I feel I am very blessed to have all of you sending me your love and prayers.
Hugs,
Kathleen

Pain and Sadness

Kathleen, I'm lifting you and your family up in prayer, and trusting that you will have the peace and comfort you need during this awful time. What an honor for your Dad to have a full military funeral--I'll bet he would have been so proud.

Your symptoms definitely sound stress related. Hopefully they will ease in the days ahead. Please do contact your dr if they don't. Know that you have all our support, love and prayers.

Pain and Sadness

s Kathleen,
I'm praying that God will continue to give you & your family 'comfort & strength' for the loss of your Dad. Certainly it's difficult to lose a loved one, especially a parent, know that your Dad is with God & there's no more pain & suffering. I can feel your pain, this year Feb I also lost my Dad and the feelings that you're experiencing is okay.
May God Bless-You and your family, my prayers are with you. Comfort...Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
