emotions and bruises

I just had my hysterectomy on Wednesday, July 27. I am completely bruised around my incisions and my entire pubic area. Is this normal?? My surgery was laparascopic. I still have my ovaries. Also, today I feel like crying. I am so down and out and feeling really blue. Does this get better soon, I hope?

Re: emotions and bruises

Hi. I had the same surgery on June 29th. Didn't experience any bruising, but definitely emotions. I've a had a few meltdowns, but considering what we just went through, seems very normal.....even though it didn't feel normal at the time. Just hang in there! It DOES get better. Happy healing! Take it slow and rest as much as your body needs!!
