9 hours post op

I had a laperoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy, took cervix but kept ovaries, 9 hours ago.
I was very scared going in but it's not as bad as you think, I have a catheter and some fluids and pain killer through a drip and am feeling quite sore, but nowhere near the pain I expected😄😄

Great to hear you're doing so well! Make sure you rest up as much as you can - cos once you're home, it gets a bit harder to just zonk out - at least it has been in my experience!

I was extremely afraid as well, especially of general anesthesia. I didn't feel that bad after surgery either as long as I didn't cough or sneeze. Are the nurses leaving you alone and letting you rest? They drove me nuts lol I got far more sleep after I went home
