Helllllooooo Big Belly!

I'm so thrilled hystersisters is here!!!!!
I have a wonderful doctor, yet so much 'important' info. (ie. swelly
belly) was not provided to me pre or post-op. I felt like maybe it was just me. I'm 5 weeks and feeling the best I've felt in years. (previous doc told me that it was all just 'stress'...having a four year menstrual cycle was stress!)
anyway, best of luck to all of us as we begin the next journey...

Hey everybody! I am four months post op and my swelly belly is gone (at least so far.) Yea! I am completely back to all usual activities and I basically only remember I've had surgery when I get an itch in the incision (not good when you are seeing a client or something!!!)
I am thrilled with the results of the surgery. I'M NOT IN PAIN ANYMORE!!!!
The support I've gotten from all of you helped me SOOOO MUCH!

Everyone who is having swelly belly I'm an example that it does go away. I don't remember exactly how long it took but I think I haven't had it for about a month now. Take heart sisters, it gets better!
