Brain pain, ugh, Please help!!!

Hi princesses,
I was so happy that I haven't been experiencing migraines since my tah. I was going to mention that to my gyno. I am so glad I didn't its back with full force , sniff, sniff. I feel so bad. I have some of the signs of having my period. I guess, because I kept my ovaries right?
tylenol doesn't work. I use a tea bag, on my eyes and that soothes the eye. Does anyone have some natural remedies for migraines. I am a little nervous of meds. since for a long while I was given vioxx for prevention of migraines, and, zomig for when I had them. I found the worst migraines when I had my menses. I appreciate and tips. Thanks for listening.

Hello Perseverence,

I'm with you about taking meds and resist as much as is feasible, but do take a daily handful of vitamins.

I used to suffer from migraines on a regular basis. About four or five years ago, I read about the many health benefits of taking magnesium and added it to my daily vitamin regimin. I haven't suffered a severe migraine in at a few of years now.

You may want to discuss this option with your doctor. I don't remember how long it was between when I started taking magnesium and when the headaches stopped, as I didn't start magnesium as a migraine therapy. As a matter of fact, I don't remember that being listed as one of its benefits, but did just recently take a headache survey that asked if a doctor had ever suggested a magnesium supplement as a therapy option.

Good luck to you!

Brain pain, ugh, Please help!!!

Had a rough night. I would sleep with my tea bag on my eye and it helped but once it cooled I would wake up. This is my 3rd day.
Thanks, Princess Angelhugs98, I will ask my doctor about the Magnesium, once I was precribed that for something else can't remember what with vit. D. It is wonderful and consoling to hear that you are without migraines.after having it on a regular basis.
Thanks,Princess Erech05, Its a great idea about going to a health food store. Will they know what herbs to take?
