Ovarian pain, no ovary and hip pain

Hello, I had a partial hysterectomy in 1997 at 27 years of age. Prior ton this, my periods were very dibilating and I suffered with endometriosis. 1o months later, a pain in my right side where the existing ovary was ( had been began to hurt as it had before the first surgery). A tumor had developed on that ovary that ruptured while driving down the road. I ended up back in the hospital and it took almost a year to clean my bloodstream from the poison it had in it due to the tumor. I had another surgery which removed that ovary right away and went through that recovery process again. Other than hormone balance issues, I didn't hurt anymore.

Last month I began to hurt on that same side and in that dame place again, I took Advil for the pain and could make it. Shortly I saw a small amount of blood in my panties, and the pain went away.

Now, I have the pain again and it was so bad that my range of motion was limited and I ended up at the emergency room from not being able to manage the pain on this past a saturday night. They did a cat scan , an ultrasound, gave me morphine, and then dialotid (sp) and then later medicine finally made a difference with the pain somewhat. I was frightened to learn they found nothing, all looked good, no kidney stones, no gallbladder issues, nothing. And I lay there in horror.

Now, I am awaiting a call from my doctor for an MRI which should show a pinched nerve but not sure about polyps.

Any input or guidance is appreciated so much.
Thank you.

Hello Miracle309,

I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing. I wanted to give you the link to our Endometriosis Support forum in case there was a possibility the endo has returned.

Re: Ovarian pain, no ovary and hip pain

Ask them to look at the veins in your pelvic area. Are they congested? I have something called PCS Pelvic Congested Syndrome. MANY Drs don't believe in it but there are many that have it! Good luck x
