May be going back to the castle for bso
Hello Sisters,
Hi, I haven't written for a while I have been so buisy. I hope all of you are doing well. I had to go back to my dr. this week due to pain in my left ovary. During my hysterectomy he had found endo. on it and cut out the endo. He suspects the endo. is back. Pain has been there for a while now. The thought of another surgery just depresses me so bad. I think I'm hormonal anyway because out of the blue I just feel so sad. Like today I feel just awful. Oh, well I hope I will feel better soon.
My tah was 3 months ago does anyone know if it's normal to feel so depressed like this (even before the possibility of a bso) still having my ovaries? Take care everyone.

Hi Lisa! I am right there with you, as I might be having to have a BSO as well. My Dr. said that if (Which I know it is STILL there, along with pain on my left side..UGGG)the cyst was still there on May 2,2007 that he may have to do a BSO. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone with this, and yes, I have been very emotional ever since my TVH on 1/9/07 as well! HUGGGGSSSS!

Chasity,
I guess we are so emotional because of our horomones?
I hope all goes well with you. Keep in touch and I'll do the same we will get through this as well. Wow, thats easier said than done. I really thought my tah was gonna be my last surgery! I told my dh that I was gonna tell my dr. to take out everything I didn't need. Take out one of everything in there and be done with it. LOL

I am sorry that you ladies are still experiencing problems. My dr. said that keeping ovaries would increase the risk of ovarian cyst for about a year and then things would settle down. I have not had any problems so far. However I am still struggling with emotional up and downs. Hang in there and please let us know how everything works out.

joje24- I know the pain you are talking about. I had bad pain in my lower back since Nov. and it ended up being from a 4cm cyst on my right ovary. It even radiated out to my hip and down my sciatic nerve. Hang in there-hopefull your dr will be able to help you once again!
